This event is free, but if you're able, we're asking participants to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to a local food bank. Most needed items are listed here.

    Programs:

    Hapkido

"The way of harmonic energy", Hapkido is a highly sophisticated martial art, based on mirroring and redirecting an opponent's "Ki" or energy. Joint manipulation, pressure points and circular motion are the characteristic tools of Hapkido.

Hapkido teaches that we must protect our opponent as well as ourselves; ideally we must endeavor to immobilize an act of aggression without injury to the attacker or the attacked.

    Gentle Do

This program is the equivalent of the Chinese Tai Chi Chuan.

Like Tai Chi Chuan, Gentle Do can be described as a form of moving yoga and meditation combined. It consists of a series of movements derived from Korean martial arts; however, they are preformed slowly, softly, and gracefully, with smooth transitions between each position of the activity. Great emphasis is placed on the breath and focus of the mind.

    Cardio-Kickboxing

Come get your sweat on! This fast-paced, heart-pumping, music-filled class is sure to get you sweaty! All levels are welcome and every exercise can be tailored to work best for you. This hour long class will fly by as you learn how to punch and kick while getting stronger and more flexible. The benefits are endless - come and join our cardio kickboxing family!

    Adult Martial Arts

Earn a Black Belt in a traditional martial art based on the mighty combinations of Taekwondo, Hapkido and Judo.

Taekwondo, the popular new Olympic event, is known for its powerful kicking and striking techniques.

Hapkido is a highly sophisticated martial art based on mirroring and redirecting an opponent's energy. Joint manipulation, pressure points, and circular motion are the characteristic tools of Hapkido.

Judo is an age-old art that is best summed up in the axiom 'maximum effect for minimum effort.' Here we learn to use our bodies leverage to overcome our opponents.

More than just a system of self-defense, our program becomes a way of life, which promotes social responsibility, inner harmony, physical health and personal excellence. All of this is accomplished in a positive atmosphere of excitement and fun.

    Grace in Motion Yoga

A joyful, all-levels yoga program designed to build strength, increase flexibility, and bring calm to both body and mind. Led by Carina Rosa, Grace in Motion Yoga offers welcoming classes where every student feels supported, discovers balance, and carry the peace of the mat into everyday life.

    Aikido

Aikido ("ai" - harmony, "ki" - energy, "do" - path or way) is a Japanese defensive martial art founded by Morihei Ueshiba (1883-1969). Aikido focuses on circular movements to avoid and redirect an assailant's attack. Aikidoists use the attacker's force to unbalance and neutralize an assault by executing throwing techniques, arm pins, and wrist and elbow locks. Aikido does not emphasize strength. The techniques rely on the relaxed projection of energy generated by rotating the hips.

    Youth & Adult Ninjai Warrior

So wait...you're actually training to be Jedi? Yes! We combine martial arts, acrobatics, parkour, lightsaber dueling, self defense, and meditation into an action packed class that'll get your heart pumping while having tons of fun.
